Inspired by the power of expression, creation as well as the blaze of colour of our planet Earth, this idea of mine goes back to the structures, contrasts and colourings that have been in existence on our planet for eternity.

Yellow, red, blue, green, black and white are the primary colours that mix and remix themselves over and over in our global treasure box of paints. 

My work is a testament to these observations, my humble attempt to reduce the complexity of nature to its very essence. 

To this end, I have made avid use of natural materials, such as sand, pigments and other tidbits that I have picked up along the way while traveling - interesting bits of memorabilia typical for the particular region of choice.

Inspiriert durch die Ausdrucks- und Gestaltungskraft sowie die Farbenpracht unserer Erde , ist mein Konzept entstanden, das Strukturen, Kontraste und Farbvariationen aufgreift, wie sie die Natur in Milliarden von Jahren gezeichnet hat.

Gelb, Rot, Blau, Grün, Schwarz und Weiß sind die Grundfarben, die sich im "globalen Farbkasten" immer in neuen Tönungen, Schattierungen und Nuancen mischen.

Meine Arbeiten sind Dokumentation dieser Beobachtung und ein Versuch die Komplexität der Natur auf das Wesentliche zu reduzieren.

Hierbei verwende ich natürliche Materialien, wie Sande, Pigmente und andere Stoffe, die ich teils auf meinen Reisen sammle und wie sie für die jeweilige Region charakteristisch sind.
